"I wanna do something that matters say something different something that sets the whole world on it's ear I wanna do somethin better, with the time I've been given and I wanna try to touch a few hearts in this life and leave nothin' less that something that says I was here." -Lady Antebellum

This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Jessica Macha who was born in Michigan on January 4, 1991 and passed away on March 31, 2010.  Jessica came into this world as a fighter only weighing 1 lb 7 1/2 oz.  Jessica was not just your average small town country girl, she was so much more than that.  She loved everything country, which of course included the music.  Some of her favorite artists being Kellie Pickler, whom she met once.   She also likes Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, Alan Jackson, and Josh Grogan.  She also was a major horse lover.  Her Nana and Papa bought Jessica her first horse named Sam.  Her and Sam were best buds until she met the love of her life, Drew Freed.  Jessica fell head over heels for Drew.  They began dating on February 20, 2009.  Jessica and Drew went to the Prom together, that was the happiest moment in Jessica's life.  Drew was Jessica's everything, she loved him so much.  While everything was blossoming with Drew, Jessica attended Montcalm Community College to get a nursing degree.  Jessica's life was cut short on March 31, 2010.  She was hit by an oncoming car that she did not see, she sadly passed away later that night.

Jessica was such a pleasure to be around, she made an impact on everyone that she came into contact with. She was just that amazing plus some.  She was loved by all of her family and friends.  She was the type of girl that if you gave her a topic she could go on for days and days talking about it.  Jessica will hold a very special place in many people hearts because of what a wonderful person she was.  She has created unforgettable memories with her friends and family.
Jessica will be forever held close to our hearts and life will never be the same without her here.  We have to keep the memory of her alive and live life to the fullest the way she would want us too.
Love you Jessica, forever and always.

She Was My Big Sister
By: Jared Macha

Jessica Lee Macha was my big sister, she was not as big as me but she was my sister.  When the woman came in and said that she didn't make it, I felt like I was shot.  My insides were gone.  I called her cell phone just to hear her voice, I said that I have you and you were the best sister in the world.  I miss you Jessica and everyone misses you.  I didn't know what I had 'til it was gone.  I didn't think you would pass.  I miss Jessica she always will be my big sister and I love her.

Everyone has told me that God has a plan for everyone, however I do not believe that God would take our Jessica from us so soon.  I believe that he intended on keeping her alive, but once he saw how bad the accident ended up being, he was really saving her from who she would have been if she did make it from the accident.  As hard as it may be to believe he was helping her, he wanted us to remember for Jessica for who she was and not who she would have been after the accident.  Honestly I had a hard time understanding why God would do something like this to her, why our family, and why now.  Then I thought of this and to me it made sense, was that what he was doing I do not know that for sure, but I hope that was what his reasoning was.  This has and is still helping me get through this hard time, I hope that in some way this could help you as well.
